Workshop Description
This is a one-day course for those wishing for a simple exposure to mosaic-making with some technical lecture and a small mosaic produced to take home with you.
Some basic terminology and technique will be covered and students will see the use of the ancient hammer and hardie cutting method. Each student may have the opportunity to attempt a bit of cutting with these tools, but in general, to expedite the working time, all stone materials for their small mosaic will already be cut. Students will choose from several simple designs offered for their mosaic.

One-Day 10am-5pm with lunch break
All-inclusive tuition for the day is $300

Minumum 2 students/ Maximum 4 students
Or Privately arranged at higher rate
