- Workshop Description
- Learn how to translate flowers in your photos or drawings into realistic and powerful mosaic statements. In this 3-day intensive workshop you will explore the following: preparing a drawing of flower for mosaic, andamento, closeups, depth of field, choosing a color palette, effectively portraying flower details, composition, layout, and technical aspects of working with the stained glass tiles. Grouting options will be discussed. You will use a boat-shaped “brushstroke” tesserae that you will learn how to perfectly cut during this workshop. Images will be provided or bring your own upon approval of the instructor. Workshop comes with handouts.
All skill levels are welcome. Min. 8 students.
